REQUIREMENTS

This activity is suitable for all levels of ability and experience. The activity includes heights and some strenuous physical activity, so a base level of fitness is necessary.

ABOUT

This climbing week experience will take place among the fantastic and ancient limestones of the Campidano and Sulcis Iglesiente areas, which were once part of a huge historic mining system.

Over the course of the seven days, you will navigate the rugged terrains of some of Sardinia's most celebrated climbing sectors and soak in the rich cultural offerings of this enchanting Mediterranean island.

At the start of the week, you will get to see some of the best climbing spots in the region: those at Buggerru and Domusnovas. Here, your skill and courage will be put to the test as you undertake exhilarating climbs, all the while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

Midweek on your rest day, you have the chance to delve into the local culture and history. You could opt for a hike along the stunning coast, or visit historical landmarks like Nuraghe Seruci, Porto Flavia, and Galleria Henry. Alternatively, you could indulge your senses in a private wine tasting session in Soleminis or Iglesias (for an extra charge).

The final days of your trip will introduce new climbing challenges at Punta Pilocca in Fluminimaggiore and the Castello dell’Iride zone of Masua.

At the end of each day, you'll return to your cozy accommodation to relish an aperitif and a hearty meal, recounting the day's adventures.

ITINERARY

Welcome to Italy!

Shortly after arriving at the airport you will be picked up the transfer and driven to the accommodation.

Once there, we’ll do an initial briefing to go over the plan and aims of the weekend and do an equipment check.

You will have breakfast then head out on your adventure!

We’ll drive you out to the climbing locations, making a quick stop at a local grocery store to buy packed lunch.

Upon arrival at the activity site, the No Boundaries Team will guide you around the area.

At the end of the day you’ll be driven back to the accommodation for an evening of hearty food and swapping stories — everything you need to get ready for another day of climbing!

You will check out of your accommodation before being transferred back to the airport.

Please note that variations due to weather, number of participants and coaches’ availability are possible.

You will be given a detailed plan for the week upon your arrival.

Sports Travel Insurance will provide cover for the entire duration of your trip, and will cover you for any general travel issues, plus any issues related to your chosen activity.
