ABOUT

Gressoney is a beautiful Alpine valley in the Aosta region of Italy, known for its stunning mountain scenery and outdoor activities. One popular activity is via ferrata, which involves climbing along a secured route with the help of steel cables, ladders, and other fixed aids.

In Gressoney, there are several via ferrata routes suitable for different skill levels and abilities, ranging from easy walks to more challenging climbs. One of the most famous is the Via Ferrata del Colle del Nivolet, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

Whether you are an experienced climber or a beginner looking for an adventure, via ferrata in Gressoney is a unique and thrilling way to experience the beauty of the Alps.

ITINERARY

Welcome to Italy!

Shortly after arriving at the airport you will be picked up the transfer and driven to the accommodation.

Once there, we’ll do an initial briefing to go over the plan and aims of the weekend.

You will be transferred after breakfast to the activity location in Donnas - Ferrata delle Peredrette, at approximately 8.30 am.

You will have an onsite introductory briefing on the via ferrata before starting the route.

Part way through we will stop to eat our packed lunches and enjoy the view.

We will then continue and finish the route before returning back to the accommodation.

You will be transferred after breakfast to the activity location, today in in Gressoney Saint Jean, at approximately 8.30 am.

As on day 2, we will have an onsite introductory briefing on the via ferrata before starting the route.

Part way through we will once again stop to eat our packed lunches before continuing to finish the route. We will then return back to the accommodation.

At the end of the day, you will be driven back to the airport. We’ll say goodbye and you'll take your flight back!

Public transport may be used for transfers.
