Unique places in Italy

Multisport (2).jpg

Italy is probably one of the most pretty and most diverse countries to visit, you would have likely heard of all the popular beautiful and exotic islands, bustling cities, and magnificent mountains such as Sicily, which is, in fact, the country’s largest island and the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. The most populated city is Rome with 2.9 million people and Monte Blanco, the highest mountain peak in Italy however, some exclusive and delightful destinations in Italy are a short distance away.

LAKE MAGGIORE

First is Lake Maggiore, located on the south side of the Alps and is the second-largest lake in Italy after Garda. Fortunately, the area is surrounded by Mediterranean greenery and tropical plants, with the climate staying mild all year round. Not only is Lake Maggiore located next to fine dining restaurants and luxurious hotels, but it also offers the chance to learn about Italian culture and history with trips to Italy’s oldest churches and cathedrals.

Or maybe you are a thrill-seeker and would also enjoy a more adrenaline-pumped event such as the bouldering and climbing weekend in Lake Maggiore which takes place between Italy’s warmest and brightest months of summer. You can expect a fulfilling weekend of climbing workshops and a finely prepared evening meal followed by some relaxation and downtime all planned and hosted by No boundaries.

No boundaries also host many other exciting adventures all over Italy’s most exhilarating landmarks, however, I am going to discuss some of our other favourite locations and adventures.

SICILY

Secondly, you can experience an amazing climbing and photography week in Sicily, with the famous UK-based climber and commercial outdoor photographer, Lena Drapella, who will host the event. Lena Drapella specialises in adventure sports and climbing events.

The event will be held in Sicily, which is a beautiful island located in the central part of the Mediterranean Sea and to the south of the Italian Peninsula. Your host Lena Drapella will teach you all the tricks of the trade to become a confident climber and how to get the best shots on the crag! Your days will be spent climbing and taking photos with Lena and your climbing instructor, in the evenings you can look forward to trips and fine dining, in the magic of Italian culture, history, and cuisine.

Trebbia VALLEY

Next is Trebbia valley which is a prominent river located in Liguria and Emilia Romagna in northern Italy. Part of the right-bank tributaries of the River Po, the other three being the Tanaro, the Secchia, and the Panaro. Because this location is so remote, Trebbia Valley is often unspoiled by tourists and offers the artistic and cultural traveler many diverse attractions. It has been described as the forgotten and enchanted valley so you can expect to experience luxurious green hills and mountains, red-hot and flamboyant summers, and your reflection in the clean, crisp, and clear blue waters that flow naturally among the untouched nature.

No boundaries host a Multisport and Yoga Weekend Event with Courtney Fisher, a qualified yoga and Pilate’s instructor and a hypnotherapist. The weekend includes a series of different climbing routes and hiking through the beautiful valley. You will also be lucky enough to experience Courtney fisher’s electrifying yoga sessions.
